About The Position

Performance Contracting is seeking a General Foreman for its PCI Dallas 114 operations based in Midlothian, TX. This individual will be responsible for the overall responsibility for crew safety, performance, productivity and work quality for assigned projects. They will collaborate with the superintendent and project manager to coordinate project startup, execution and close out. The General Foreman will use look-ahead schedules, manpower forecasts and project specifications to provide optimum scheduling of material, manpower and crew mix. They will systematically direct and assign crew field activities to achieve maximize productivity while maintaining PCG standards of quality, performance and workplace safety. Creating and maintaining positive relationships with all trades, vendors, co-workers and customers to maximize effectiveness and efficiency is key. The role requires conveying a professional and positive attitude as the onsite representative of branch and corporation. Use of available technology to perform job tasks efficiently is expected. The ability to perform all job duties and associated work functions in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is required. Performs other related duties as assigned. On-the-job training is offered. This position is safety-sensitive.

Requirements

  • Must have at least 1 year of experience as a supervisor on a construction jobsite
  • Experience working interior services such as Drywall, Framing, Interior/Exterior walls, Specialty Panels, Clean Rooms, etc.
  • Must have a track record of successfully performing supervisory responsibilities
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Must have strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
  • Possess strong verbal and written communication skills with ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders
  • Ability to perform basic math
  • Able to withstand prolonged periods standing and working outside
  • Physically able to perform assigned tasks
  • Must be able to lift 40 pounds at a time
