Requirements

• Love of the outdoors
• Ability to complete Electrical Hazard Awareness Program and OSHA training
• Ability to complete the Davey Tree First Aid, CPR and defensive driving course upon hire
• Valid driver’s license

Nice To Haves

• Commercial Driver’s License-Class A or B with Airbrake Endorsement
• Line clearance experience or other related tree work
• Relevant pesticide and related licenses and certificates, if required by state law
• ISA Certified Arborist®, ISA Certified Tree Worker®, and/or TCIA Certified Tree Care Safety Professional®

Responsibilities

• Manage, direct and supervise crew leaders, field personnel and equipment as well as plan and execute assigned work.
• Organizing and assigning crews and equipment to efficiently perform the required work.
• Understand and follow all company policies, procedures, and work rules.
• Maintain accurate records of required work.
• Oversee the hiring and training of all Davey employees in territory.
• Investigate accidents and promptly report to appropriate management.
