Aldridge is seeking a General Foreman to manage utility and substation projects including, but not limited to, craft planning, scheduling, quality assurance and safety. This role involves supervising and managing all aspects of onsite construction activities for all trades to ensure project(s) is (are) constructed in accordance with contract documents, budget and schedule. It may include interfacing with client representatives, architect and engineer representatives, subcontractors, and other contractors. The General Foreman will plan, coordinate and supervise onsite functions for all subcontractor trades, create and implement site logistics plans, and supervise craft employees and/or subcontractors as required by the contract. They will provide technical assistance, identify conflicts between trades, and coordinate plans and specifications with architects, engineers, and the project management team. This role also involves providing input for safety plans, project schedules, and subcontractor work plans, driving the three-week look-ahead schedule process, conducting safety inspections, tracking subcontractor purchases and delivery dates, and ensuring compliance with project procedures and safety program requirements. The General Foreman will also identify and mitigate risks, understand subcontractor scopes and contracts, and perform additional assignments as directed by their supervisor.
