Utility Foreman
About The Position
Shirley Contracting is seeking a Utility Foreman to supervise and manage crews and coordinate with or assist the Project Management Team. The role performs operations to meet job cost, schedule, and production goals and requires willingness to perform related tasks that support projects. The Utility Foreman helps ensure company health and safety policies and requirements are met, maintains positive working relationships with customers and coworkers, understands material and equipment requirements, and completes required paperwork promptly. The base hourly pay range is $30.00–$50.00. Compensation may vary based on factors including education, experience, skills, and geographic location. Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis. Candidates must pass a pre-employment physical and drug screening.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience.
- Ability to read plans and working knowledge of standards and specifications.
- Ability to organize, plan, and schedule work.
- Ability to communicate with employees, vendors, inspectors, and owners’ representatives.
- Must pass a pre-employment physical and drug screening.
- Must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
