This role involves teaching middle and high school students academic, social, and life skills, managing classrooms, identifying students with academic issues, communicating with parents, and maintaining records. The teacher will use various teaching methods and aids to supplement presentations, plan and deliver differentiated instruction, and maintain school and classroom discipline. Operational duties include assisting in the protection of students and property and aiding in emergency drills and student management during events like dismissals and field trips. Professional conduct requires maintaining personal integrity, confidentiality, and a strong work ethic, along with participating in district professional development.
