About The Position
We are seeking a talented, experienced Dentist to provide quality dental care in a collaborative and supportive dental practice. The team performs a variety of preventive, restorative, endodontic, and surgical procedures within the scope of general dentistry. The Dentist works collaboratively with the office and region to provide the best treatment for patients. Board Specialists are brought into the office to treat patients referred for specialty care, allowing patients to receive care under one roof and the Dentist to work side by side with a Specialty Dentist. The practice provides experienced dental staff and patients, and emphasizes evidence-based dentistry. Teamwork supports smooth day-to-day operations so the Dentist can focus on patients and their oral health.
Requirements
- DMD or DDS from an accredited dental school.
- Active, unrestricted state dental license or be in the process of obtaining a license upon graduation.
- CPR/BLS certification.
- DEA certification.
- NPI number.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive oral examinations and evaluations to diagnose dental problems.
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans for patients.
- Perform procedures including fillings, cleanings, extractions, and root canals.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
- Provide prescriptions for patients as needed.
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient records, including X-rays and treatment histories.
- Refer patients to specialists, such as orthodontists or oral surgeons, for complex treatments.
- Ensure all work complies with safety, OSHA, and infection control standards.
