About The Position

Adventure Dental, Vision, & Orthodontics in Longmont, Colorado, is seeking a General Dentist to provide preventive and restorative dental care for children. The dentist will instruct staff on assisting with patient treatment and educate caregivers and patients about preventive practices. This is a part-time position for Mondays, Fridays, and/or Saturdays only; PRN opportunities are also available. Pay range is $700–$1,000 per day.

Requirements

• State dental license in good standing.
• Strong interest in working with children.
• Ability to acquire or maintain a Medicaid Provider number and NPI number.
• Attention to detail and ability to handle a diverse workload.
• Ability to multitask and complete tasks correctly and on time.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality care and service by responding promptly to the needs of patients, caregivers, and team members.
• Examine patients, diagnose diseases, and effectively treat patients and perform necessary procedures.
• Educate caregivers and patients about all aspects of treatment and stay informed about the latest dental treatment techniques.
• Partner with neighboring practices to inform and educate referring providers about the services provided.
• Help children and their caregivers develop excellent oral health habits.
• Support efforts to promote the company and attract new patients within the community.
• Participate in team activities and communication, including morning huddles, provider meetings, company events, and email communications.
• Perform other duties that support the mission of providing high-quality and compassionate dental, vision, and orthodontic services to underserved children.
