About The Position

Academy Kids Dental, Vision, & Orthodontics in Colorado Springs, Colorado, is seeking a General Dentist to provide preventive and restorative dental care for children. The dentist instructs staff on assisting with patient treatment and educates patients and caregivers about preventive practices. The position reports to the Vice President of Clinical Services. The listed pay range is $800–$1,100 per day.

Requirements

Hold a state dental license in good standing.
Have a strong interest in working with children.
Ability to acquire or maintain a Medicaid Provider number and NPI number.
Attention to detail and ability to handle a diverse workload.
Ability to multitask and complete tasks correctly and on time.

Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality patient care and service by responding promptly to the needs of patients, caregivers, and team members.
Examine patients, diagnose diseases, and provide effective treatment and necessary procedures.
Educate patients and caregivers about treatment and stay informed about current dental treatment techniques.
Partner with neighboring practices to inform and educate referring providers about the services offered.
Help children and caregivers develop excellent oral health habits.
Support efforts to promote the company and attract new patients in the community.
Participate in team activities and communications, including morning huddles, provider meetings, company events, and email communications.
Perform other duties that support the mission of providing high-quality, compassionate dental, vision, and orthodontic services to underserved children.
