About The Position
We are seeking a General Dentist for a Locum Tenens position in Eureka, CA. This is an outpatient, clinical-only role covering a supplemental need. The coverage period is from August 10, 2026, ongoing, with a shift schedule of Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM. The position involves providing general dentistry services to a mixed patient panel of 50% adults and 50% pediatric patients, managing an average daily volume of 16-18 patients. Responsibilities include completing chart closure within 72 hours of patient visits, committing to a minimum 3-month assignment with extension options, and maintaining compliance with all required immunizations and credentialing documentation. Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance are covered by the vendor. The facility utilizes the Epic EMR system.
Requirements
- Board Certified or Board Eligible (BC/BE)
- Licensed in CA
- Active DEA needed before starting
- BLS certification
Responsibilities
- Provide general dentistry services to a mixed patient panel of 50% adults and 50% pediatric patients
