About The Position
Mid America Health is seeking a Full-Time General Dentist to provide portable dental services to children at local schools. This position offers a low-stress, non-private practice setting with all supplies, equipment, and support staff provided. The role emphasizes work-life balance with no weekend or evening hours, and offers the rewarding experience of serving an underserved population. Part-time positions are also available.
Requirements
- Proficiency in all of the areas listed above
- Current Ohio Dental License
- Current CPR for Healthcare Providers
- Must be Medicaid Certified or willing to become certified
- Willingness to travel within a 2-hour radius
Responsibilities
- Providing Comprehensive Care on School Clinic Days
- Conduct initial screenings
- Conduct comprehensive oral exams
- Establish treatment plans
- Extractions
- Fillings
- Stainless Steel Crowns
- Fluoride treatments
- Sealants
- Prophys
