About The Position

The Iowa Primary Care Association is actively recruiting a General Dentist to provide care at a vibrant community health center (FQHC) in Mason City, IA. This FQHC is the largest source of comprehensive primary care for underserved communities and populations, utilizing an integrated care model that includes medical, dental, behavioral health, and pharmacy services, allowing patients to access comprehensive, coordinated services often under one roof. The clinic operates Monday-Friday from 8am-5pm, with flexibility, and no evenings, weekends, or call. The provider team consists of 2 dentists, 1 dental hygienist, and 5 dental assistants, working in 6 operatories. The clinic uses Epic Wisdom for its EHR system. New graduates are encouraged to apply.

Requirements

DDS/DMD degree from an approved dental school

Responsibilities

Perform hygiene checks
Handle limiteds
Provide treatment
Perform extractions
Perform root canals
Provide dentures on a variety of patient populations, including those who have not had dental care in years

Benefits

Eligible for $50,000 in student loan repayment in exchange for 2 years of service through state & federal programs
Competitive Salary: $180,000 - $230,000/year based on experience
Sign on Bonus: $20,000
