About The Position
Mid America Health is seeking a Part-Time General Dentist to join their Indiana team. This position involves providing portable dental services to children at local schools, three days a week (Monday-Friday, approximately 7:00 am - 3:00 pm) in the Evansville, IN area. All necessary supplies, equipment, and support staff are provided. This role offers a low-stress environment outside of a traditional private practice setting and is an excellent opportunity to give back to an underserved population, promoting a healthy work-life balance with no weekend or evening hours.
Requirements
- Proficiency in all of the areas listed under duties
- Current Indiana Dental License
- Current CPR for Healthcare Providers
- Must be Medicaid Certified or willing to become certified
- Willingness to travel within a 2-hour radius
- Willingness to get KY Dental License
Responsibilities
- Providing Comprehensive Care on School Clinic Days
- Conduct initial screenings
- Conduct comprehensive oral exams
- Establish treatment plans
- Extractions
- Fillings
- Stainless Steel Crowns
