About The Position

This position is for a General Dentist with a focus on pediatric patients, with the intention of applying to a CODA-approved pediatric dental residency program. The role involves providing comprehensive dental care to patients of all ages, with a special emphasis on the pediatric population. The dentist will perform exams, direct and indirect restorations, simple and surgical extractions, root canals, implant replacements and restorations, and fixed and removable prosthodontics. The position requires a commitment to practicing and learning at various locations based on patient needs.

Requirements

  • Doctor of Dental Surgery or Dental Medicine
  • Fully licensed dentist to practice in the State of MO (or the ability to obtain a MO license)
  • Intention to focus heavily on pediatric patient population and apply to a CODA-approved pediatric dental residency program
  • Commitment to active participation in learning with board-certified pediatric dentist attendings and within the pediatric dental residency environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-based environment
  • Commitment to JVCHC’s mission to improve the health of individuals and families in underserved communities

  • Salary: Negotiable based on experience; new graduates start out at $175,000.
