Requirements

• At least two (2) years of experience in dental assisting preferred.
• Familiarity with Dentrix or other dental software systems is advantageous.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with patients and team members.
• Demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills to build positive relationships.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert support during dental procedures, anticipating the dentist's needs and ensuring patient comfort.
• Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment in accordance with infection control protocols.
• Maintain accurate patient records, including medical history and treatment details, in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Support the dentist during the polishing process to enhance patient comfort and safety.
• Explain procedures to patients and address any concerns effectively.
• Ensure a clean and organized treatment area, restocking supplies and equipment as needed.
