Requirements
- At least 1 year of dental assisting experience preferred
- Virginia Dental Radiation Certification required
- Current CPR certification
- Strong communication, organization, and attention to detail
- A positive, team-oriented attitude and commitment to excellent patient care
Nice To Haves
- Experience with Open Dental, digital scanners, implants, or same-day digital workflows is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Assist the doctor chairside using four-handed dentistry
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments
- Take digital X-rays and intraoral images
- Perform iTero and Medit digital scans
- Assist with restorative, crown and bridge, implant, oral surgery, and other general dental procedures
- Fabricate temporary crowns and provisionals
- Review treatment plans, support patient education, and maintain accurate records
- Help ensure a positive patient experience and support the clinical team
