About The Position

The General Counsel will be a trusted partner and key advisor for Honeywell's Sanctions Compliance program. This role is responsible for ensuring compliance with sanctions regulations of the United States (Office of Foreign Assets Control “OFAC” and other agencies) and maintaining an effective sanctions compliance program throughout the Company. The General Counsel will advise on business strategy, the calibration of integrated compliance systems and digital tools to support and guide businesses in growing product portfolios internationally. This role will also partner with Honeywell’s Export, Anti-Money Laundering (“AML”), and CFIUS teams.

Requirements

  • Juris Doctor (JD) or equivalent degree.
  • Admission to practice law in at least one state.
  • Significant experience in sanctions compliance, particularly with OFAC regulations.
  • Experience advising on international business strategy.
  • Familiarity with integrated compliance systems and digital tools.
  • Experience partnering with Export Control, AML, and CFIUS teams.
