About The Position

Reporting directly to the Vice President and General Counsel, Regulatory, the Assistant General Counsel will be a trusted partner and key advisor for our Sanctions Compliance program’s compliance with sanctions regulations of the United States (Office of Foreign Assets Control (“OFAC”) and other agencies) and maintaining an effective sanctions compliance program throughout the Company. They will advise on business strategy, in addition to the calibration of integrated compliance systems and digital tools to support and guide the businesses on how to best grow our product portfolios internationally. This role will also be a partner to Honeywell’s Export, Anti-Money Laundering (“AML”), and CFIUS teams.

Requirements

  • Juris Doctor (JD) or equivalent degree.
  • Admission to practice law in at least one state.
  • Experience in sanctions regulations, particularly OFAC.
  • Experience in developing and maintaining compliance programs.
  • Ability to advise on business strategy and international growth.
  • Experience partnering with related compliance functions (e.g., Export, AML, CFIUS).
