About The Position

Under general supervision, this position will provide instructional supervision to students in biology classes as part of the Arts & Sciences program at the Dublin Campus of Oconee Fall Line Technical College. The role involves demonstrating appropriate teaching techniques, testing and grading procedures, and effective oral and written communication skills. The instructor will maintain accurate records, including grade books and property inventories, and follow the approved course syllabus. The position may require day and evening hours and travel to satellite locations.

Requirements

Masters Degree that contains 18 graduate-level hours related to human anatomy and physiology.
Work experience must include the competencies, skills and knowledge levels required for the subject matter being taught for general science courses.
Faculty must be credentialed to satisfy all appropriate accrediting bodies for the course assigned.

Nice To Haves

Experience as an instructor/teacher in a secondary or postsecondary setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide instructional supervision to students in biology classes.
