About The Position

This position uses some subject-matter knowledge and judgment to complete assignments consisting of numerous steps varying in nature and sequence. The General Clerk III selects alternative methods and refers problems not solvable by adapting or interpreting substantive guides, manuals, or procedures. Typical duties may include: Assist in a variety of Administrative matters: Maintain a wide variety of financial or other records (stored both manually and electronically) Verify statistical reports for accuracy and completeness Compile information Handle and adjust complaints Enter industrial time for contractors and civilian employees in database Enter industrial time in the ALMIS Contractor Time for contract employees Enter industrial time in AMMIS for all civilian employees working within applicable division Update status information for Service Requests (SR) in the SR Database Complete close out paperwork for completed SRs Monitor and correct punches in Timeforce timekeeping system as implementation spreads to additional IOD shops Generate reports from the above databases for use by personnel for use in making component repair decisions.
