About The Position

This position requires an active Secret clearance or the ability to obtain a Secret clearance to be considered. As required by our governmental client, this position requires being a US Citizen, lawful resident alien, citizen of American. Perform simple repetitive tasks in the same sequence. File pre-coded documents in a chronological file, or operating office equipment, (e.g., mimeograph, photocopy, addressograph or mailing machine).

Requirements

High School or Equivalent is required.
Ability to lift 50 lbs. to 150 lbs. (2-man technique) as needed, required.
Ability to be on your feet most of your shift with a lot of walking involved, required.
Use some clerical subject-matter knowledge and judgment to complete assignments consisting of numerous steps varying in nature and sequence.
Excellent communication skills; both oral and written.
Ability to obtain a secret clearance and US Citizenship Required.
Successfully pass a drug screen and federal background.
Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal.

Nice To Haves

1 year combined clerical experience is preferred, preferably in federal setting.

Responsibilities

Assists in a variety of administrative matters; maintaining a wide variety of financial or other records (stored both manually and electronically).
Assists with the compiling and verification of statistical reports for accuracy and completeness; compiling information; and handling and adjusting complaints.
Use a thorough knowledge of an office's work and routine.
Processes complex transactions: and select or devise steps necessary to complete assignments.
Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
