Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of six (6) months of experience in a warehouse, production, records management, clerical, or other fast-paced operational environment with established productivity goals.
  • U.S. Citizenship required, with a minimum of three (3) consecutive years of citizenship.
  • Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
  • Ability to successfully pass a 7-year criminal background investigation.
  • As a condition of employment, the selected candidate must be able to obtain and retain a Government Public Trust Security Level clearance (including a credit check); this process typically takes approximately 6 weeks to complete prior to the anticipated start date
  • Ability to perform physical job duties, including standing and walking for extended periods and regularly lifting and moving materials weighing up to 40 pounds.
  • Ability to successfully complete a pre-employment drug screening and physical abilities assessment.
  • Proficient computer skills, with strong attention to detail, organizational abilities, and time management skills.

Responsibilities

  • Load, unload, move, and organize boxes and file materials from incoming deliveries
  • File, shelve, retrieve, and reshelve records as needed
  • Support document storage and retrieval operations
  • Scan files into and out of storage systems
  • Process file transfer requests
  • Answer and document incoming calls related to records requests and file management activities
  • Utilize handheld scanners and computer systems to perform daily operational tasks
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation while following established procedures
  • Meet established production and quality goals
  • Follow detailed procedures and workflows with accuracy and consistency
  • Work effectively within a secure warehouse environment, including an underground records storage facility
  • Maintain productivity while performing repetitive filing, records management, and warehouse-related tasks
