About The Position

General Cleaners are responsible for the cleanliness and maintenance of all assigned areas. They perform a combination of cleaning duties to maintain the facility’s daily upkeep and cleanliness. The role involves a physically demanding, fast-paced environment and requires working efficiently with attention to detail. This is a full-time position; the posting lists both 2nd and 3rd shifts.

Requirements

• Excellent work history.
• Team-focused approach and ability to work with others and take direction.
• Ability to work efficiently with attention to detail in a physically demanding, fast-paced environment.
• Reliable transportation.
• Must pass a background check.
• High school education is preferred but not required.
• Previous cleaning experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, dust, dust mop, damp mop, and vacuum assigned areas.
• Extract carpet and strip and wax floors.
• Remove trash and recycling.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms and locker rooms.
• Polish the outside area within 10 feet of entryways.
• Wash windows and clean desks, walls, furniture, doors, entry glass, interior glass, countertops, chalkboards, whiteboards, blinds, and light fixtures.
• Perform other duties as directed by the custodial supervisor or designated representative.
