About The Position

The General Cleaner maintains the safety and cleanliness of a manufacturing facility, communicates with the client to provide the best service possible, and represents the culture of PBS to clients. The cleaner follows the building supervisor’s directions and assigned schedule, and may relieve, assist, or temporarily fill in on other jobs. Requirements

• High school diploma.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Willingness to work flexible hours based on company needs.
• Ability to stand, sit, walk, and kneel for sustained periods.
• Ability to regularly lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Follow directions from the building supervisor and complete work according to the schedule.
• Relieve, assist, or temporarily fill in on other jobs assigned by the supervisor.
• Dust, sweep, and mop floors as necessary; wash windows and window sills as needed; scrub or strip and wax floors as scheduled; and sweep exterior walkways.
• Clean and sanitize restroom fixtures, hardware, tile, mirrors, partitions, and floors; replace restroom supplies as needed.
• Report damage and maintenance needs to the supervisor.
• Load and unload supplies and equipment.
• Assist with maintenance work or minor repairs as needed.
• Clean tools, supplies, and equipment after each use and store them properly.
• Maintain worksite safety and cleanliness, communicate with the client, and represent PBS to clients.
