About The Position

The General Cleaner is a frontline Team Member who performs janitorial cleaning and disinfecting duties using 4M’s practices, supplies, and equipment. The role involves maintaining clean facilities, replenishing restroom supplies, removing trash, and reporting maintenance issues. Duties may vary from this representative description. The position is part-time and pays $15 per hour. Scheduling is described as two people for 2.5 hours or one person for 5 hours.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Some janitorial experience is required; training in 4M’s practices is provided.
• Must successfully complete a drug screening and background check.
• Must comply with safety guidelines.
• Must wear provided 4M apparel and personal protective equipment when necessary, in accordance with position and OSHA requirements.
• Reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Use 4M’s cleaning and disinfecting practices, including green-sealed certified supplies and equipment.
• Provide friendly, reliable, courteous, and resourceful service as a representative of 4M.
• Wipe down surfaces, including countertops, fixtures, glass, mirrors, windows, and furniture.
• Remove trash.
• Replenish towels, soap, and toilet paper.
• Sweep, wet mop, and vacuum.
• Report necessary repairs, replacements, leaks, and drips noticed in the facility.
• Follow safety guidelines and wear provided 4M apparel and personal protective equipment when necessary, in accordance with the position and OSHA requirements.
