About The Position

General Cleaners are responsible for the cleanliness and maintenance of all assigned areas. They perform a combination of cleaning duties to maintain the daily upkeep and cleanliness of the facility. The position is available on a full-time or part-time basis and lists first- and second-shift work. Offers are contingent on background-check and fingerprinting results, and candidates will undergo E-Verify.

Requirements

Excellent work history.

Ability to work efficiently with attention to detail in a physically demanding, fast-paced environment.
Reliable transportation.
Ability to reach, bend, stoop, wipe, push, and pull.
Ability to frequently lift, push, pull, or carry up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds.
Ability to walk and stand extensively for the duration of the shift.
Sufficient mobility to perform assigned tasks within established production and service time frames.
Ability to work in temperatures ranging from hot to cold.
Offer is contingent on background-check and fingerprinting results; candidates will undergo E-Verify.

Nice To Haves

High school degree or equivalent.
Previous cleaning experience.

Responsibilities

Sweep, dust, dust mop, damp mop, vacuum, and extract carpets.
Strip and wax floors.
Remove trash and recycling.
Clean and sanitize restrooms and locker rooms.
Polish the outside area within 10 feet of entryways.
Wash windows and clean desks, walls, furniture, doors, entry glass, interior glass, countertops, chalkboards, whiteboards, blinds, and light fixtures.
Perform other duties as directed by the custodial supervisor or their designated representative.
