About The Position

The General Cleaner is a frontline 4M Team Member who performs janitorial cleaning and disinfecting tasks using 4M’s practices, supplies, and equipment. The role includes cleaning surfaces and floors, removing trash, replenishing restroom supplies, and reporting facility issues. Duties may vary. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 5:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., at an hourly pay rate of $15.50.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Some janitorial experience required; training in 4M’s best practices is provided.
• Must successfully complete a drug screening and background check.
• Must comply with safety guidelines.
• Must wear provided 4M apparel and personal protective equipment when necessary, in accordance with the position and OSHA requirements.
• Reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Use 4M’s cleaning and disinfecting practices with green-seal-certified supplies and equipment after training.
• Provide friendly, reliable, courteous, and resourceful service as a representative of 4M.
• Wipe down surfaces, including countertops, fixtures, glass, mirrors, windows, and furniture.
• Remove trash.
• Replenish towels, soap, and toilet paper rolls.
• Sweep, wet mop, and vacuum.
• Report necessary repairs, replacements, leaks, and drips observed at the facility.
• Comply with safety guidelines and wear provided 4M apparel and personal protective equipment when necessary, in accordance with the position and OSHA requirements.
