About The Position

The General Cleaner is a frontline 4M Team Member who performs janitorial and cleaning duties using 4M’s cleaning and disinfecting practices, green-seal-certified supplies, and equipment. The role includes maintaining clean facilities, replenishing restroom supplies, removing trash, and identifying maintenance issues. Duties are representative and may vary.

The position is scheduled Monday through Friday from 5:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. and pays $15.50 per hour. The General Cleaner reports to the Account Supervisor/Account Manager.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Some janitorial experience is required.
• Must successfully complete drug screening and a background check.
• Must comply with safety guidelines.
• Must wear provided 4M apparel and personal protective equipment when necessary, in accordance with position and OSHA requirements.
• Reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Clean and disinfect using 4M practices, green-seal-certified supplies, and equipment.
• Provide courteous, reliable, and resourceful service as a representative of 4M.
• Wipe down surfaces such as countertops, fixtures, glass, mirrors, windows, and furniture.
• Remove trash.
• Replenish towels, soap, and toilet paper.
• Sweep, wet mop, and vacuum.
• Report repairs, replacements, leaks, and drips when noticed.
• Follow safety guidelines and wear provided 4M apparel and personal protective equipment when required by the position and OSHA requirements.
