About The Position

MasterCorp, Inc. is hiring a General Cleaner for its Commercial Services team in Provo, Utah. The role is responsible for consistently meeting quality and timeliness standards while cleaning commercial properties and following the company’s mission statement and values. Duties include routine cleaning as well as surgical cleaning in a medical facility. The position requires a strong work ethic, a passion for cleanliness, and the ability to learn and adapt. Janitorial experience is a plus. The listed schedule is Monday through Saturday, 4:00 PM to 12:45 AM; full-time and part-time positions are available. The role may involve irregular hours and rarely requires travel.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a high standard of excellence.
• Empty trash receptacles.
• Vacuum.
• Dust mop or sweep hard-surface floors.
• Wet mop hard-surface floors.
• Clean areas including restrooms, kitchens, and lobbies.
• Wipe spots and smudges from entry doors.
• Dust horizontal surfaces when they have been cleared.
• Perform high dusting.
• Dust windowsills and blinds.
• Perform surgical cleaning in a medical facility.
• Report unit maintenance issues according to company procedure.
• Report damaged, dirty, or stained carpets, drapes, furniture, and linens.
• Report inventory and supply needs to a supervisor.
• Report lost-and-found items to a supervisor or manager.
• Help keep storage closets clean and organized.
• Maintain a safe working environment at each site and office.
• Use supplies and equipment efficiently and effectively.
• Use time wisely and efficiently.
