General Cardiologist Advanced Cardiac Imaging
About The Position
Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a fellowship-trained, BC/BE general non-invasive Cardiologist with fellowship training in Advanced Cardiac Imaging to join our Cardiology Division at our Center for Advanced Medicine flagship facility. This 636-bed Level I Trauma Center in Temple, Texas, offers a comprehensive cardiovascular service line including a top-tier STEMI program, complex coronary interventions and ablations, cardiac transplantation and LVAD implantation, advanced cardiac imaging, and cardiogenic shock/ECMO teams. The role involves inpatient and outpatient coverage, rotated call, and teaching responsibilities within the cardiology fellowship and internal medicine residency programs. A faculty appointment through Baylor College of Medicine is expected, with potential involvement in educating medical students. Baylor Scott & White Health operates on a single EMR (EPIC) and provides access to all medical specialties.
Requirements
- Fellowship trained, BC/BE general non-invasive Cardiologist
- Fellowship training in Advanced Cardiac Imaging
- Training in Cardiac MRI/CT required
- Doctorate Degree in Medicine
- Licensed to Practice Medicine in the state of Texas by the Texas Medical Board
- Board certified in their specialty, or show effective pursuit of board certification
Responsibilities
