About The Position

Our company is seeking a skilled General Assembly Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience with general assembly and be able to work in a fast-paced environment. This role involves assembling wood parts and upholstery using a staple gun, working with polyfoam to create comfortable and durable products, and following assembly instructions and blueprints to ensure quality products. The technician will also inspect finished products for defects and maintain a clean and organized work area. The position requires the use of an air-powered frame gun to assemble wood parts for furniture frames and/or attach padding and upholstery. The technician will read instruction and production sheets to meet daily production goals, operate and maintain air-powered frame and/or nail guns, and work in accordance with company safety practices. Maintaining a neat and clean work area, following all quality standards and inspection requirements, and ensuring regular attendance and compliance with work schedules are also key responsibilities. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Previous experience with general assembly
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and assembly instructions
Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Good communication and teamwork skills
Uses air powered frame gun to put wood parts together to build a furniture frame (or parts of a frame) and/or attach padding and upholstery to a finished wooden frame.
Reads instruction and production sheets to complete daily production goals.
Operates and maintains air powered frame and/or nail guns.
Works in accordance with Company Safety practices
Maintains neat and clean work area.
Follows all quality standards and inspection requirements.
Regular attendance and compliance with all work schedules.

Responsibilities
