About The Position

Nesco Resource is seeking motivated individuals to join its production team in Mentor, Ohio. The role involves assembling and operating machinery to produce brushes for various industries. Work includes repetitive hand and machine production tasks, preparing and positioning brush-fill materials, assembling and packaging brushes, and monitoring product quality. The position is on the first shift, Monday through Friday, from 7:20 a.m. to 3:50 p.m., with starting pay of $17.00 per hour. The work environment is temperature-controlled, and the posting offers a $500 sign-on bonus.

Basic mechanical aptitude and comfort working with machinery.

Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
Willingness to learn and grow within a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

Perform repetitive hand and machine production tasks to assemble or twist brushes safely and efficiently.
Cut and prepare fill material for brush assembly or twisting operations.
Spread and position fill material evenly between stem wires using guides or stops.
Twist and assemble brushes in varying order quantities and package them for shipment.
Obtain first-piece inspections and monitor work in process against quality standards.
Follow work instructions, safety protocols, and operating procedures for machine loading and adjustments.
Occasionally attach handles, ferrules, or couplings; thread stems; pull springs; trim ends; and shape wire.
Accurately record production data and report equipment issues, defective materials, or unusual conditions to the supervisor.
