About The Position

The General Assembler is responsible for assembling parts and subassemblies by following blueprints, work instructions, and production specifications to support quality and delivery goals. This role prepares materials, inspects components for quality, troubleshoots basic assembly issues, and assists with packaging and labeling products in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The position requires attention to detail, teamwork, and the ability to maintain safety, quality, and productivity standards while supporting daily production operations.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 1+ years of varied manufacturing experience in Mechanical Assembly
  • Ability to quickly learn new blueprints and perform all necessary measurements
  • Hand/power tool skills (Drill, Adjustable Wrenches, Pliers, Hammers, screwdrivers, etc.)
  • Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE). Safety glasses, hearing protection, and steel-toe shoes
  • Must be a U.S. Person within the meaning of the law or obtain an export control license (unless an exemption applies).

Responsibilities

  • Assembling parts and subassemblies by following blueprints, work instructions, and production specifications.
  • Preparing materials.
  • Inspecting components for quality.
  • Troubleshooting basic assembly issues.
  • Assisting with packaging and labeling products.
  • Preparing work to be accomplished by studying assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, and parts lists, gathering parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials.
  • Organizing parts and subassemblies for an efficient assembly process.
  • Verifying specifications by measuring completed components/products.
  • Resolving assembly problems by altering dimensions to meet specifications; notifying the supervisor to obtain additional resources.
  • Maintaining supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; placing and expediting orders for supplies; verifying receipt of supplies.
