About The Position

Responsible for preparing, assembling, testing, and packaging according to the production schedule. This role involves operating various workstations to complete the assembly of scheduled parts, complying with policies, guidelines, and regulatory requirements, and following detailed assembly instructions, processes, and procedures. The position requires reporting quality, process, equipment, and material issues to the Production Supervisor and maintaining a clean and organized work area. The General Assembler will also perform other duties as required or assigned.

Requirements

  • Works with various hand and power tools.
  • Reads and understands documents such as policy manuals, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Utilizes common sense understanding in order to carry out written, oral, or diagrammed instructions.
  • Provides accurate work on a consistent basis meeting precise tolerances and standards.
  • Interpersonal skills sufficient to work closely with others on a team.
  • Ability to demonstrate flexibility in work environment performing a variety of frequently changing tasks.
  • Ability to work alone effectively under stress and in situations dangerous to self or others.
  • Completes some moderately repetitive tasks.
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent (required).
  • Basic computer knowledge (required).

Nice To Haves

  • Six months or more experience working in a manufacturing type position (preferred).

  • Performing other duties as required or assigned.
