About The Position

As an Assembler, you will play a crucial role in the manufacturing process by performing a variety of operations such as mounting, posting, and aligning parts, setting up equipment for testing, and maintaining production records to assemble comfort units to specifications. Shifts(All shifts operate Monday-Thursday with possible overtime on Friday and Saturday) Shift 1 4:00am - 2:30pm

Requirements

  • Read and write English
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to read tape measure
  • Must have good problem solving skills

Nice To Haves

  • Prior carpentry/construction experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Follow safety guidelines and protocols to maintain a safe work environment
  • Work from blueprints and verbal instructions from Supervisor.
  • Able to mount, align, position, and assemble a variety of parts and components including frames, compressors, fans assemblies, control boxes, coils, panels, motors, nuts, bolts, rivets, adhesives, etc., to completely assemble comfort units.
  • Communicate effectively with team and supervisors.
  • Coordinate with other assemblers to ensure smooth production flow and to troubleshoot any issues including any shortages or outages.
  • Visually inspect assembled products to ensure that all parts are properly aligned, connected, and functioning correctly.
  • Package units and parts with all necessary components including warranties and manuals.
  • Choose correct packaging materials to protect the nature of the product. This may include boxes, bubble wrap, foam inserts, plastic bags, or protective sleeves.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly workplace.
  • Perform any and all other department duties as assigned by Supervisor.
  • Sweeping and straightening of the workplace is required for a safe and productive atmosphere.
