About The Position
Pirates Voyage accepts general applications from friendly, energetic, dependable people interested in joining its live entertainment crew. If no current opening fits an applicant’s skills or experience, the company will keep the application on file and may contact the applicant when a matching opportunity becomes available. Potential roles include guest-facing work, team roles, behind-the-scenes work, and other positions supporting the dinner show experience. Age and qualification requirements vary by position. Positions for applicants age 16 and older include Ticket Booth Agents / Phone Room, Gift Shop Cashiers, Face Painters, and Greeters. Positions for applicants age 18 and older include Servers, Custodial Staff, Maintenance Staff, Kitchen Staff, and Show Tech / Spotlight Operators. Servers must have an approved South Carolina Alcohol Server Certification. Applicants age 21 and older may apply for Bartender positions, which also require an approved South Carolina Alcohol Server Certification. Crew members work together to create an exciting dinner and entertainment experience. Depending on the position, work may take place in a lively, fast-paced environment and involve interacting with guests, cross-training in different areas, contributing to a fun and welcoming atmosphere, and taking on new responsibilities. Guest-facing employees may wear pirate attire and interact with guests. Most positions have afternoon and evening schedules. Hours and days vary by position, show schedule, and business needs. Requirements
- Be friendly, outgoing, and comfortable interacting with guests.

- Be comfortable working in a fast-paced entertainment environment.
- Be willing to learn and cross-train in different areas when needed.
- Be able to communicate effectively with guests and fellow crew members.
- Be ready to help create a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for guests.
- Meet the age requirement for the position: 16+ for Ticket Booth Agents / Phone Room, Gift Shop Cashiers, Face Painters, and Greeters; 18+ for Servers, Custodial Staff, Maintenance Staff, Kitchen Staff, and Show Tech / Spotlight Operators; 21+ for Bartenders.
- Servers and Bartenders must have an approved South Carolina Alcohol Server Certification.
