About The Position
Eos Atomics is a deep-tech fusion startup focused on developing fusion technology to transform humanity's relationship with energy and create a sustainable future. We are seeking highly motivated and experienced engineers and physicists across all stages of R&D, including design and analysis, hardware and software development, testing, management, and operations. Requirements
- Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in an engineering or physics discipline
- Genuine interest in and experience with hands-on research and development
- Experience in lab testing and operationally focused environments
- Knowledge of electronics troubleshooting and the ability to use standard test equipment
- A bias toward ownership and action, with enthusiasm for problem-solving
- Strong interpersonal, collaboration, and communication skills (verbal and written)
- Strong leadership and project management skills; highly organized and detail-oriented
- A proven track record of high-impact, high-ROI contributions
- Ability to work full-time at our San Francisco laboratory
- Ability to work long hours and weekends as necessary to support critical milestones, including travel to project sites
