This role involves managing accounts receivable, including checking figures, postings, and documents for accuracy. The accountant will organize, secure, and maintain all files, records, cash, and cash equivalents in accordance with policies and procedures. Responsibilities include recording, storing, accessing, and analyzing computerized financial information, as well as classifying, coding, and summarizing numerical and financial data to compile financial records. The position requires preparing, maintaining, auditing, and distributing statistical, financial, accounting, auditing, or payroll reports and tables, and completing period-end closing procedures. Key tasks also include preparing, reviewing, reconciling, and issuing bills, invoices, and account statements, following up on past due accounts, preparing daily consolidated deposits, documenting and acting upon cash variances, and administering cashier banks and contracts.
