About The Position

The Materials Science - GEM Post Undergraduate Intern (Summer 2026) will contribute to environmental protection mission by applying engineering and science to accelerate closure and reduce risk at active environmental cleanup sites for the Department of Energy’s Office of Environmental Management (DOE-EM). Interns are provided an exciting learning environment to develop into the next generation of professional scientists and engineers, explore the unknown, and make impactful discoveries. GEM Summer Internships typically run for a 10-12 week period.
