This role focuses on the hands-on manufacturing environment, ensuring precision machining and repair of power transmission gearboxes. Requirements

  • High School Diploma / GED from an accredited school or institution.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a production / industrial environment or equivalent experience.
  • Ability and willingness to lift, pull or push 40+ pounds.
  • Ability and willingness to work first, second or third shift and scheduled work days, including weekends.
  • Ability to stand, stoop, bend, squat, and push.
  • Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled environment.
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required.
  • Current work authorization in the country of employment.

Responsibilities

  • Reading and interpreting blueprints and engineering drawings.
  • Reading and comprehending work instructions for building pallets and crates for packaging.
  • Performing mathematical calculations commonly used in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiently and safely operating various tools for building and constructing pallets and crates to package and safely transport, such as nail and staple guns, drills, saws, and being able to proficiently read a tap measure.
  • Assembling/building crates to contain products.
  • Loading and unloading products onto freight carrier vehicles.
  • Using small hand tools, operating material handling equipment including forklifts, cranes, hoists, skids, pallet handlers, and hand trucks or lifting heavy objects by hand within applicable weight limitations.
  • Performing any other job duties as assigned by supervisor or manager.
  • Following all safety and quality procedures during all work operations.
