About The Position

We are looking for a highly experienced GCP Solutions / Data Architect with a strong hands-on background in coding and data engineering. This role focuses on designing and building scalable data platforms on Google Cloud Platform, with a heavy emphasis on BigQuery, data architecture, and modern data ecosystems. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in data engineering, cloud-native architectures, and large-scale data systems, along with the ability to lead technical decisions and deliver robust, future-proof solutions.

Requirements

• 15+ years of overall experience
• 10+ years in Data Engineering and Cloud technologies
• Strong hands-on experience coding (Python and/or Java)
• Deep expertise in Google BigQuery (must-have)
• Experience with GCP services, including: Cloud Composer, Dataflow, Cloud Storage, Dataproc, Vertex AI
• Strong knowledge of data architecture and data modeling
• Experience with data governance and data management
• Proven experience building scalable cloud-native data platforms

Nice To Haves

• Experience with AI/ML solutions on GCP
• Exposure to Agentic AI
• Experience designing systems for online machine learning

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and scale Data Warehouses and Data Lakes on GCP
• Develop and maintain data ingestion pipelines and ETL/ELT workflows
• Build semantic data models using BigQuery
• Lead data architecture and modeling decisions across projects
• Execute migration projects (On-Prem → Cloud or Cloud → Cloud)
• Implement Data Mesh and Data Products architectures
• Design and deploy event-driven and streaming architectures
• Provide technical leadership to ensure scalable, secure, and reliable systems
• Work across end-to-end data engineering and analytics projects
• Apply best practices (Agile, CI/CD, DevOps) in development lifecycles
