About The Position

Nexer Czech Republic, a division of DANIR AB, is seeking a GCP Cloud Engineer for an international project building and operating secure cloud foundations for enterprise Agentic AI platforms. The role focuses on Google Cloud Platform infrastructure, security, networking, Infrastructure as Code, and observability. The engineer will help design, build, and maintain scalable, secure cloud environments that support managed, self-hosted, and external AI agents while meeting enterprise security and governance requirements.

The position is based in Czechia and is fully remote, with an optional onsite visit approximately once per month and occasional travel. The assignment is a 100% allocation employment contract (HPP).

Requirements

• Based in Czechia.
• Good level of English (minimum B2; C1 preferred).
• Knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Knowledge of IAM (Identity and Access Management).
• Knowledge of networking.
• Knowledge of Terraform.
• Knowledge of policy-as-code.
• Knowledge of observability.
• Knowledge of Git and CI/CD.
• Experience with cloud security and enterprise integration.
• Analytical, documentation, communication, and collaboration skills.

Nice To Haves

• C1 English proficiency.
• Experience with policy-as-code.

Responsibilities

• Manage GCP IAM and identity, including service accounts, custom IAM roles, and Workload Identity Federation to extend trust from GCP to non-GCP workloads without long-lived keys.
• Work with cloud networking, including VPC Service Controls, Private Service Connect, and cross-cloud connectivity patterns used within the DHL network.
• Use Terraform to provision Agent Platform resources and Agent Gateway instances, and to define network policies as code.
• Write and test IAM and semantic governance policies, ideally using a policy-as-code approach.
• Use Cloud Trace, Cloud Logging, and Cloud Monitoring, including building dashboards and topology views spanning managed, self-hosted, and external agents.
• Help design, build, and maintain scalable, secure cloud environments that support Agentic AI platforms and meet enterprise security and governance requirements.
