About The Position

C.H. Robinson is seeking an organized and detail-oriented Air Export Gateway Agent to manage and operate the shipment lifecycle for assigned consolidations. In this role, you will serve as a key contact and trusted resource, ensuring shipment requests, documentation, and requirements are completed accurately and on time. You will prepare, distribute, and maintain critical export documents across various geographic regions while supporting daily communication, reporting, and email management. Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Minimum 2 years of Global Forwarding experience, specifically air gateway, air freight, or air shipment consolidation

Responsibilities

  • Manage air export shipments from purchase order through final delivery, ensuring a smooth and compliant shipping experience
  • Prepare, process, and assemble required documentation for air, LCL, and FCL shipments
  • Ensure shipment documents are accurate, timely, and properly distributed to carriers, customers, and global partners
  • Coordinate key shipment activities, including SLI submissions, bills of lading, shipment updates, pre-alerts, tracking, and invoicing
  • Maintain accurate shipment records in Navisphere, ensuring strong data quality and visibility
  • Monitor consolidation details, including routing, eManifest status, INCOterms, and master-level documentation
  • Apply industry knowledge, problem-solving skills, and sound judgment to resolve shipment challenges
  • Communicate clearly and proactively with customers, overseas offices, agents, carriers, and vendors
  • Build positive working relationships with internal teams and external partners to support seamless execution
  • Follow company, local, and global laws, regulations, procedures, and compliance standards
