About The Position

Join Avery Point by Erickson Senior Living as a Gatehouse Officer. The role staffs the community entrance and provides customer service and hospitality while helping maintain a safe and secure environment. The position is full-time, offers benefits, and is scheduled for the day shift from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM. Compensation is $18 per hour, based on experience.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Maintain strict confidentiality of protected health information and other sensitive or confidential information.

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience as a Security Gatehouse Officer.
• Current and valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Acknowledge visitors, greet them pleasantly, and offer assistance to people entering the community.
• Screen all vehicle and pedestrian traffic entering the community.
• Provide parking passes and maps, and direct visitors to appropriate parking spaces.
• Document visitors, vendors, and contractors in the standard gatehouse log.
• Inform the security and emergency services supervisor when inspectors, government representatives, process servers, or law enforcement seek to enter the community.
• Complete thorough and detailed incident reports using the online reporting system.
• Maintain strict confidentiality of protected health information and other sensitive or confidential information concerning the company, its employees, business information, or residents.
