About The Position

As a Security Officer - Warehouse Gatehouse in Phoenix, Arizona, you will serve and safeguard clients at a retail distribution location. In this unarmed role, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service. You will communicate with team members and visitors while helping maintain an orderly environment. The position is full-time and pays $21.50 per hour. The schedule is Wednesday through Sunday, 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM.

Requirements

At least one year of security-related experience.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 or older for armed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements may apply under state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required before employment.
A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
Respond calmly to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations, following established reporting procedures.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, docks, and perimeter locations throughout the distribution center.
Monitor access points and assist with check-in procedures for visitors, contractors, and delivery drivers according to site requirements.
Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.
