This position involves completing closing duties such as storing reusable goods, breaking down goods, cleaning equipment and areas, returning equipment to proper locations, locking refrigerators, restocking items, turning off lights, locking doors, and completing a daily cleaning checklist. The role also includes setting up, stocking, and maintaining work areas, and inspecting the cleanliness and presentation of china, glass, and silver before use. Maintaining cleanliness of work areas throughout the day using clean-as-you-go procedures is essential. The role requires adherence to all company and safety/security policies and procedures, reporting accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions, and completing safety training and certifications. Ensuring a clean and professional uniform and personal appearance, maintaining confidentiality of proprietary information, and protecting company assets are also key aspects. The attendant will welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards, speak with clear and professional language, and answer telephones using appropriate etiquette. Developing positive working relationships, supporting team goals, and responding appropriately to employee concerns are expected. Ensuring adherence to quality expectations and standards, and visually verifying information in various formats are also part of the job. The role requires standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods, moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and placing objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance. Fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination are needed for manipulating objects. The attendant must be able to move over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces, and up and down stairs or service ramps. Reaching overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping, is also required. Other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors may be assigned.
