About The Position

Martis Camp is a private community in Truckee, California, seeking a full-time Gatehouse Ambassador. This role is crucial for providing exceptional customer service, fostering goodwill, and ensuring the safety and integrity of access to Martis Camp for members and guests. The Gatehouse operates 24/7, and the position involves tasks such as community safety patrols, package delivery, home inspections, and facility/residential lockups. A hybrid schedule is available, including swing shifts and graveyard shifts on Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays.

Requirements

• 40-hour per week commitment (4 shifts/week).
• Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand/walk for up to 2 hours at a time.
• Ability to sit for up to 2 hours at a time.
• Ability to twist, kneel, and bend repeatedly while moving inventory or assisting members.
• A clean DMV record must be provided upon offer of job.
• No visible tattoos while wearing a long or short sleeve shirt.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen (including marijuana).
• Must be at least 21 years old for vehicle insurance purposes.
• Must pass a pre-employment background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to members and guests.
• Maintain the integrity of access and safety of Martis Camp.
• Perform community safety patrols.
• Deliver packages.
• Conduct home inspections.
• Perform facility and residential lockups and closings.
