About The Position

Baylor Scott & White Surgicare Southlake is hiring a GI Technician/Endoscopy Technician. Under the direct supervision of a surgeon, the technician assists with the operation of technical equipment during simple and complex endoscopic procedures. The physician, registered nurse, and GI technician work together in the procedure room to support positive patient outcomes. The technician also cleans, disinfects, and maintains endoscopes and other instruments, manages patient flow, prepares procedure rooms, stocks supplies, orders materials, and performs clerical tasks.

The role requires availability on Mondays and Fridays. It is weekdays only, with no holidays, weekends, nights, or call responsibilities. The facility has four operating rooms and one procedure room and provides services in specialties including orthopedics, ENT, podiatry, gastroenterology, and general surgery.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of experience in a GI Lab.
• Current BLS certification.
• Availability to work Mondays and Fridays.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in an ambulatory surgical center or surgical hospital.
• ACLS certification.

Responsibilities
