The Department of Laboratory Medicine and Pathology at Mayo Clinic Florida is seeking a GI/liver pathologist dedicated to their GI/liver subspecialty service to work in a large group practice setting. The position includes an academic appointment with the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine. For applicants interested in or actively engaged in extramurally funded research, a “Clinician Engaged in Research” (CER) designation may be considered. The CER appointment is a 3-year commitment from DLMP and Research, with at least 30% protected research time. Development of an independent extramurally funded research program is preferred, and support for subsequent years of research funding will be determined based upon the initial progress towards that goal. Collaboration with oncology and digital pathology programs is considered ideal.
