About The Position

This is a position for a Gastroenterologist in a well-established hospital managed practice near Lexington, KY. The role involves working alongside one other GI and a midlevel provider. Office hours are Monday to Friday from 8am to 4:30pm, except on days spent in the Endoscopy suite. The expected patient volume averages 25 per day. The hospital serves over 40,000 residents and provides a 24-hour ER (with 15,000 annual visits), surgical services, ICU, a psychiatric center, a physical rehab unit, a skilled nursing unit, a comprehensive Cancer Center, and the latest in diagnostic imaging. The city offers small-town life with access to Lexington's attractions, a strong public school system, and an excellent cost of living.
