About The Position

Mass General Brigham is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Gastroenterologist to join their renowned and well-established GI team located north of Boston in Newburyport, Massachusetts. The incoming physician will provide outpatient care in the Newburyport clinic, with procedures performed at Merrimack Valley Endoscopy Center (MVEC) in Haverhill, MA. This role involves delivering comprehensive outpatient and inpatient gastroenterology services to the Merrimack Valley community, performing procedures in an efficient and supportive endoscopy center, and participating in a shared call schedule and inpatient coverage at Merrimack Health Methuen Hospital. The position requires maintaining high standards of clinical quality, productivity, and collaboration, partnering with a multidisciplinary care team, and developing referral and educational relationships within Mass General Brigham and the local medical community.

Requirements

• Board Certified or Board Eligible Gastroenterologist

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive outpatient and inpatient gastroenterology services to the Merrimack Valley community
• Perform procedures in a physician-friendly endoscopy center designed for efficiency and support
• Participate in a shared call schedule
• Participate in shared inpatient coverage at Merrimack Health Methuen Hospital approximately 1 week out of every 5
• Maintain high standards of clinical quality, productivity, and collaboration within the practice
• Partner with a multidisciplinary care team to provide seamless, coordinated patient care
• Develop referral and educational relationships within Mass General Brigham and throughout the local medical community
